Norwegian Cruise Line has released a teaser video about the third ship in the innovative Prima class of vessels with a confirmed name of the new vessel – Norwegian Aqua. With outstanding innovations of her own, the new ship is sure to make waves when she debuts in 2025. The fare includes many meals on board, drinks such as regular coffee and iced tea and more. Guests can dine at Indulge Food Hall, choosing from 11 distinct eateries; take a ride on the three-level Viva Speedway race track; and chase thrills on The Drop, a free-fall slide. Viva will also feature the line’s Metropolitan Bar, which debuted on Prima using surplus ingredients to serve sustainability-minded cocktails, among other drinks.

The new ship will begin sailing in April 2025 with seven-day Caribbean itineraries departing from Port Canaveral. “Discovering new flavors and dining experiences is such a memorable part of any vacation, especially when you share it with those who matter most to you,” said David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line. Those new concepts include Planterie, the brand's first dedicated plant-based menu eatery. As Norwegian explained, Planterie can be found in the Indulge Food Hall on deck eight and will offer "plant-based bowls and other healthy options." Also onboard the new ship will be one of the favorites of the Prima class – the 10-story spiraling dry slide, The Drop. Unlike Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, however, Norwegian Aqua will only feature one dry slide instead of a dueling pair. While full details of the Aqua Slidecoaster are not yet revealed, what is obvious is that Norwegian Aqua will not have a multi-story speedway go-kart track like her sister ships, as the slidecoaster is positioned in the same area of the ship with no room for both attractions. Immediately noticeable is Norwegian Aqua‘s vibrant, multi-colored hull art. Unlike her sister ships with their ocean-hued colorations, Norwegian Aqua will have an intense paint scheme with yellow, blue, teal, orange, pink, and purple shades, ensuring the ship is instantly recognizable from every angle. The ship will also host the at-sea debut of “Beetlejuice" The Musical in a three-story onboard theater that can turn into a nightclub.

The rest of the ship will feature inside, ocean view and balcony staterooms including studio staterooms for solo travelers, with price points lower than having to pay double the fare.
